How the machine works
SHR technology employs low fluence, high average power, with super fast pulses(up to 10 Hz, 10 times per second), instead of high peak energy and slow pulses. SHR does not solely target melanin as the traditional IPL principle. Instead, SHR focuses on progressively raising the temperature of the sub-dermal layer of the skin in a step-wise fashion. SHR raises and maintains the temperature, trapping the heat for prolonged time (up to 90 seconds)and thereby deactivating the surrounding biological markers (e.g., stem cells and enzymes) for permanent hair reduction.
